This is an opportunity to see Margot Parsons’ latest dance and learn more about her research and methodology in the studio. Prior to the showing, Ms. Parsons and Mr. Bale will discuss their recent collaboration, offering viewers some additional tools for understanding and engaging with the dance. TEMPORAL CONSTELLATION is performed for one hour without intermission in a gallery-like atmosphere. It explores ideas of stratification, transmutation, and a changing series of planes while allowing certain narrative themes to emerge, fade and return as the dance progresses. Observers thus far have called it "mesmerizing" and filled with "powerful elegance." You are invited because we value your opinion and would love to share this experience with you and know your impressions. Following the performance the dancers, choreographer, and musician will engage in lively dialogue with the viewers. The showing is the first part in a series of performances that will make Ms. Parsons' creative processes transparent and track the evolution of the dance as it mutates over time. Reservations at 617.484.3783 Pre-performance presentation at 2:50 pm, performance at 3, post-performance dialogue at 4. -----
